imagine how much direct entry costs.#5500 then you register only for the form to fail to upload because the jamb portal says "your jamb reg number is not recognized". so even when you have your reg number with your admission letter jamb looks the other way. they say you must "regularize".. whats that? what does that mean?. femi says na "bobo". they want you to pay for another form (regularization form), ravel back to your school (even if you schooled at sokoto university and u may reside now in lagos), sign the form with your VC (no other person), then go to the jamb office in the state your university was located (sokoto too) then they will upload your form to abuja. abuja will now regularize you and send you a new reg number which you will use to complete your registration. all these must happen within the registration window. and wait for it. the price for regularization is #10,000 naira. do u know how many nigerians have paid that money?. th even purposely delete your reg number so they make even more money. how can we know its not them that even remove it from their database?
fellow nigerians, when will the govt stop using us for rags? why should our education system be a source of income to the govt rather than the govt be a source of growth to the education system?
why should nigerians suffer and go through all this impossible journey and part with lots of cash even greater than the one for the form all because jamb wants to cash in on its season.
what is the 10,000 naira for? what job does it do? why all these wickedness and fraud in govt and nobody is talking?
regularization should be free and people should be able to pass through stress free procedures to get it done rather than paying thru thier nose and travelling long journeys and end up being frustrated or even risking their lives all because of furthering education in nigeria .
