Description and Responsibilities

Are you a student of English or Journalism, or any other related field? Are you interested in learning the ins and outs of being an editor in a publishing house? If the answers are yes, kindly apply. Emotion Press is a publishing house seeking writing/editing interns that will gain real world experiences of time management, team-building and being an editor in a publishing house.
The Writing/Editing Intern at Emotion press will work hand in hand with our publishing officer, writers and in-house editors to ensure high quality content. You’ll be hands-on working with manuscripts and reviewing content to ensure the flow of spelling, grammar and punctuation are in order. The Writing/Editing intern will also help in the promotion of Emotion press via social media.

Requirements

Major or strong background in English or writing
Experienced with Microsoft Word
Presently studying in a higher institution or a fresh graduate waiting to be called up for NYSC
Applicant should be reliable and comfortable with a fast and dynamic work environment.
