AT LONG LAST PER! GLORY TO GOD!!
A brief about my application:
*It was received at CIO on 9th September 2014,
*On 29th September, 20 days later, I realized I didn't report TRV refusal in 2013 and immediately sent another form with a covering letter via e-mail to : https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
*sent the physical copy the following day to CIO
*The e-mail was acknowledged on 17th November and it came with my UCI
*December 11th ECAS came alive
*December 24th PER.......

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 2:22pm On Sep 26, 2014
damkollins: No guarantee that option 1 will work because of the absence of UCI for principal applicants to match it with the package in CIC facility. But there is no harm in trying...just indicate every details of the principal applicant on the additional document and send.
Options 2 and 3 can surely be done when the time come.
Cheers.
Thanks very much Collins, cheers
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 11:17am On Sep 26, 2014
damkollins: There are about 4 ways to handle this depending on your choice.
Since you seems to have a UCI number,I'll suggest you send an additional document as a follow up to your package quoting your personal details...UCI...passport number and all.Include the form in it and send a covering note along with a photocopy of the pages involved.
Another option is to use this link(https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=accra) to notify Accra office after your package must have been long transfered to Accra office....there are options to attach the form there.
As a last resort, you can also notify Accra office by sending them a post mail to their address in Accra.
Lastly,Accra visa office will ask you to update the form involved during medical request and so you can correct it then with the inclusion of an explanation letter.
The first option can be adopted immediately.
The 2nd and 3rd option is only possible after your file must have been transferred to Accra visa office.
The last option is during medical request.
In all, options 2,3&4,let Accra office know that the error was indeed made.
Cheers.
Thanks Collins, I was the one whose TRV was rejected (the spouse) but not the primary applicant for FSW, by implication, the prymary applicant for FSW doesn't have a UCI but the spouse whose TRV was refused has. I'm thinking of sending another form to correct the error, what's your take on this?
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 10:28am On Sep 26, 2014
ferdimako: Okay...let others advice. I wasn't clear on genuine omission. And u come all fighting.
I came fighting because you appeared to be very judgemental. It was genuine omission in that I didn't pay much attention to the detail while answering NO, now that I have realised me error, my consern is how to go about correcting same, to tell you, I realised this error while reading reasons for rejections on 2014 FSW on canada visa forum and someone mention something similar, that was what prompted me to go back and take a second look at those questions. Indeed it was an avoidable error but nevertheless I'm looking for ways of correcting not someone to judge me by calling me a lier, I cherish my intergrity and name brother.........!
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 10:06am On Sep 26, 2014
ferdimako: genuine omission? U mean u didn't put anything or u said NO? What abt ur UCI? Denied TRV twice in a yr and met that option twice and lied to the same embassy.
Chief! If you don't have any good thing to say, I suggest you keep shut, everyone isn't like you who lie because of visa, I only saw the QC and I just gloss over the questions without paying much attention.
Ferdimako, be guided! No how you judge people in public forum or any other forum for that matter, if you have no good advice you keep your mouth shut!
I will latest by monday send another form, besides, I'm just a supporting applicant in this case not the main applicant, I will never tell lies because of immigration, I'm comfortable with or without it, just that everything worth doing is worth doing well.

All the same thanks for your sarcasm

Dear forumites, Attn wisemen Solomon and Collins, I just realized now that the background declaration form which I submitted, schedule 3, question 6, sub 3, I did not answer the question on whether you've been refused TRV in affirmative which was the case twice last year I was refused TRV, also on spouse form it was omitted, this was a genuine omission, kindly suggest how I can correct this mistake, my application was received by CIC first week this month.

Awaiting valuable suggestion / advice
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 12:29pm On Sep 10, 2014
damkollins: These guys are not God...they make mistakes too!
A lot of mistakes have been made on their website this year regarding updates of forms....but we cant fault them.
They will soon correct it.
If you take time to individually sum up the figures for each NOC,you will discover about 2 or 3 difference with their overall figure after the recent update!
Cheers.
Collins, thanks, you're good @ dousing tensions we just keep our fingers cross and hope for the best outcome. @ Unibadan, are u of the same NOC like me 1113?

seunlovesa: caps update:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

Total received toward the overall cap: 2,761 of 25,000
Just checked the cap update and NOC 1113 reamained (-) Yet I have seen someone with PER under this NOC, what could be responsible for not updating it by cic as such #alittleworried#

damkollins: 1.Leave out the forms that are not applicable to you.
2.Please do not staple any forms together.....at most arrange them according to the document checklist listing and leave them unbound as instructed.
Cheers
.
@ Damkollins, are you suggesting that I should look forward to rejection, I stapled and clip my documents / forms while sending oh! I beg make money nor enter bush oh!
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 10:15am On Sep 03, 2014
damkollins: Funny from Plural house...I know a couple of applicants that have done there without such inquiries.
I also did it there.
You don't not to worry, what matters is the favour for which it is drafted...the rest is unnecessary.
You are fine.
Cheers.
Thanks, but to guide against return I have also included my visa card details with a little note that either the draft or the card could be used if the draft fail to go through........just being proactive, what do you think?
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh: 9:24am On Sep 03, 2014
damkollins: Normally,GTbank knows this address and so should not bother you.
Which of the branch? Is it the first time they are doing it?
Just tell them its for Processing fee for FSW and if they insist, give them the courier address, the one you gave or the one below.
FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER
CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE
P O BOX 7500
SYDNEY NS B1P 0A9.
CANADA
Basically, they do not need the address to be on the draft and I'm surprised why they insisted on it.
A print screen of mine is shown here
Cheers.
Thanks, but do you think I could still use as issued, still payable to THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA as above.......including the address

BTW, it was processed @ the HO GTb Plural house......
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by 3rdHigh:
damkollins: THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA.

If not applicable ,you do not need to do them.

1.Average processing period from date of submission as updated last from CIC website is 31months.....that's like 2.5 years .Personally i think it's btw 2 and 2.5 years.Currently,Accra is still rounding off FSW2011/2012 applications .

2.I always like to be positive minded regardless of how hopeless the situation is.September is not too late for submission ....but all still depend on your NOC been actively pursued by other country nationals.

3.Everybody in the application package needs to provide birth certificate and so not related only to the principal applicants alone.

4.You are only expected to notorize only your sets of documents or supporting document that are in your native language..I'm sure you are a full blooded Nigerian like myself and i believe mostly if not all of our document's are written in English by default..........which means I'm quite sure you don't need to notorize them.If however you have any document of yours written in your native language ,You will
A.Translate it
B.Certify the translated copy
C.Notorize the certified copy
You will include the certified/notorized original copy in your application and also include the photocopy of the original copy in your native language.
Cheers .
