Guy I know what I saw and it's a shame that in dis day and age u think it's difficult to hack someone's NL account. To be safe I think we should verify numbers here before any trade, whether it's a reputable escrow/non-escrow or not.

Requesting for "Quote me" is better to verify u are dealing with the right person.

Seem these hackers work at night when everyone is sleeping.

Requesting for:

.1) "Quote me"

2.) "Direct Calling"

3.) "Trusted Escrow"

Is better to verify and confirmed wella before striking a deal. DON'T RUSH A DEAL, if ur mind no carry the deal, just REST to be at the safe side..

If Doyenexchange is not a scammer, would he unblock me on WhatsApp and and deny ever blocking me, then sent me a link to a comment I made about him being a scammer?

If he's not a scammer, why would he remove his image, and then edit his WhatsApp status?

I don't know other proof you guys need. Doyenexchange should pay me the $175 that was sent to him. Whether the number was fake or not, fact is that I got it from his monika and nowhere else

$175 PayPal or what?

Beside when did DoyinExchange start buying PayPal?

His reputation was the reason I transacted with him... Turned out he has a number which he uses specially for scamming. The number I used was from his moniker, and his WhatsApp reflected his business and everything... He might think he's gone, but he scammed the wrong person

You guys can't see what's going on here. Same thing happened recently wen someone was accusing mesmer falsely. It seems wen u click on a legit Exchsnger's link, it will redirect u to a scammer's WhatsApp. But the question is how is it possible for a scammer to edit the WhatsApp link in an exchanger's profile except a MOD is involved. Just within the space of 48 hours, 3 legit Exchsnger's WhatsApp link has been altered and people have been cammed thinking they were chatting with the real exchanger. Something should be done here before people stop trading. I think this WhatsApp link should be put in hold for now. Everyone should just post only numbers on your profile without that WhatsApp link.

I think, all WhatsApp link should be on hold...

Until Mod will come address this issue on WhatsApp link been altered..

It is not a mix up to the best of my knowledge,he fell for the classic scam,where a scammer would introduce himself as a well know nairaland member,like others said,he failed to do due diligence,I remb a case of Someone dragging day11 for similar issue,he was obviously scammed by someone claiming to be who is he is actually accusing right now,he should direct his energy to the beneficiary bank.

Same case of impersonation, of we keep warning new/old traders in here to be extremely careful, who u dealing with on NL.

Someone Refused escrow, Refuse "Quote" on NL yet he still deal with the person with no proper due diligence...haba na, that's big error. embarassed
