The maiden edition of the Chamberlain Squash Open (CSO) will kickoff later today at the squash section of the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

The tournament which was dully registered for by eighty nine (89) players, has a total prize money of $12,000.

The winner in the men’s category will go home with $1,850 (N658,825) while the winner in the female category smiles home with N200,000. Similarly, the first runner up in the men's category will clinch a cash prize of $1,235 (N450,775), while the women’s first runner up will go home with N150,000.

While British squash player, Tom Ford is seen as the main challenger for the men’s category, Nigeria’s number one female squash player, Miss Yemisi Olatunji is believed to be the main challenger in the female category.
