Strange meat you said? Its a sign you're not from the riverine area.
This is a normal meat, infact a well sort after meat in my place.
Being eating this from childhood back then in Delta State. Nice taste especially when prepared with banga.....if you know what banga is.

A bit difficult to cook though...because of its hard skin.
