Not only are the production capacity got so low, most plantain farmers are not producing or even up to standard due to active selection of untreated and decease infected plantain sucker .They just procure any plantain sucker variety and start farming. At the moment, Sedulus Plantain Farms has been mandated to supply plantain fruits to plantain chip companies with capacity ranging from 9Ton/day to 20Ton/day.
