Kylian Mbappe 'dropped by Monaco following training ground bust-up' with teammate Andrea Raggi

The French teenager wasn't in the squad to face Metz as speculation over his future continues

Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe was reportedly dropped for the weekend win over Metz following a training ground bust-up with teammate Andrea Raggi.

The French teenager's future remains the source of much speculation with Paris Saint-Germain leading the race for his signature.

Reports last week suggested PSG had an agreement in place to sign Mbappe, who enjoyed a stunning season in Ligue 1 last term.

He was an unused substitute in last weekend's win over Dijon but wasn't in the 18 against Metz.

And according to L'Equipe , it came after the clash in training last week.

It is suggested Mbappe was involved in an angry clash with defender Raggi.

The pair reportedly had to be separated by teammates with Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim sending both players back inside.

However, Mbappe is said to have refused to leave the pitch - forcing his teammates to carry on their session on another pitch.

Raggi, who was an unused substitute in the opening two games, was also left out of the matchday squad.

Last week, Jardim insisted Mbappe was simply being protected due to the ongoing transfer saga but the latest incident sparks more speculation over his future.

“I will always protect players who need it. My philosophy is to play with players who are 100 per cent available to the squad," he said.

“Kylian is not at 100 per cent. He’s not in shape right now."
