*Anambra APC State Executives plans to Hijack Party Delegates for a Particular Aspirant.*

Information reaching us from a reliable source said that State Executive Chapter of APC has earmarked Millions of Naira to book Hotel Accommodations for all the APC Delegates for Saturday's Primary election of the party.

The source said that the plan was to hijack all the delegates and cage them in a particular place where they will be forced to vote a particular Aspirant.

The source queried that this State Executive which have been crying for lack of fund to run the affairs of the party, have suddenly budgeted this substantial amount of money to book Hotel Accommodation.

When people who worked for the party during membership registration has not been paid all their due allowances till date. In fact, those people are planning to stage a protest on the day of primary.

Some stakeholders in the party when contacted said this is unheard of. There have been primaries in Edo, Bayelsa,Kogi and Ondo states respectively. There was never a time such arrangements were made for delegates since APC was formed and it will be totally unacceptable. They will resist it.

It is expected that on that day of accreditation for delegates, each ward delegates will leave his or her ward and be at the venue of accreditation on time. When his or her ward is being called, he or she will present his party card, voters card or drivers license or National Identity card or International passport. Then thumb print on a card reader where his or picture will show to ascertain if he is the person.

The ward delegates were expected to cast their votes for any of the Aspirants of their choice without any fear or favour. And during voting, nobody should know or intimidate any person. The choice is that of the delegates.

The Source equally said that the Leader of the party who called meeting at His country home has told all who care to listen that they must deliver Mr Paul Chukwuma who is unpopular to the delegates and to the people of Anambra state.

These moves were not known to constitution of APC and we urge the delegates not to allow themselves to be caged. They should not go to any hotel being prepared by State Executives or even Local Government Executives. They should come from their respective homes on the morning of the primary.

We are watching. This cannot stand. We stand for free and fair primary.
