How many times have you been told, Lagos state economic development that is a league ahead of others is as a result of seasoned leadership and resilience despite policies from hostile federal government.
This OBJ you attribute certain "economic objectives" to is anti-Yoruba right from Adam, he instead sided with Hausa-Fulani who brought him to power in his first term. He is in fact an Hausa man by proxy, speaking the language as fluent as a native speaker would.
You will also recall what OBJ did when Lagos state government, under Asiwaju Bola Tinubu created additional local government development areas to raise the local government from pathetic 21 to 50. This would have made local government in Lagos at least about the same as that of Kano. Chief Obasanjo rather than support the course of the Lagos and Yoruba to address the injustice withheld Lagos state allocation for over 6 months! Even after court judgement declaring it illegal for FG to seize state allocation, OBJ still refused to release the fund.
How then can you maliciously claim "economic objectives of OBJ" for closing other ports? You are just another tribalist. Please hold your own leaders accountable, let them develop your state.
