has anybody else noticed dat in the search column of twitter, the top trending does not show a reflection of what is currently trending but, advertised tags are put there

Is that what you called scam? It's called promoted trends/hashtag...

So how is it a scam? Is twitter asking for your money? Are you paying twitter? Twitter has every right to place whatever ads as they wish.

I think people should try to learn the meaning of words and phrases.
