Suspected Fulani herdsman have assaulted a 72-year-old lady recognized as Akinseye (different names withheld) to trance state on her farmland in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Talking on her experience in the hands of the asserted attackers, the septuagenarian told newsmen that she was taking a shot at her homestead on the decisive day when the two Fulani herders assaulted her and alternated to assault her.

She stated, "I was taking a shot at the ranch when the two men attacked my homestead and before I could address them on their main goal in my homestead, they choked me and tear my garments and they assaulted me consistently.

They undermined to murder me from there on in the event that I make any clamor and left me in the ranch in the wake of harming me."

The occurrence constrained adolescents from the range under the protection of Ondo State Youth Coalition and agriculturists over the 18 neighborhood governments to organize a dissent against the advancement.

He said “One of our the farmers, Orimisan Omowole was murdered on his farm in Odigbo local government area of the state. After killing him they took out his heart and placed it on his chest.''

“We are not against cattle rearing or saying cattle rearing should be banned but we want free grazing of cattle on our farms, at our expense with wanton destruction of our crops and means of livelihood to be stopped forthwith.”
