Let discuss these two words,we argued yesterday on these two words when one of my friends said "he saw the movie last week". For me,he was wrong it supposed to be "I watched the movie last week" My question is that when is the right time to use see and watch, thanks. |

I think 'watching' is appropriate if the statement is present continuous. 'seen, see' on the other hand is ideal when asking questions. 'seen, saw' has to do with a past event. |
