PRESS RELEASE

WHAT A GOVERNOR!

Today the Governor of this State laid a deadly siege on his own people.

Gov. Rochas Okorocha first sent all his family members including his in-laws overseas before his onslaught this morning on the people of Owerri before his deliberate targeting and murderous imposition on defenseless Imolites.

Today, a young boy in the prime of his youth was needlessly cut down and his blood spewed by persons who desire primarily to grab native land of ndi Owerri.

Traders had repeatedly expressed their desire to relocate as soon as an alternative conducive arrangement is secured for them.

Last year, this same invading force was deployed to forcibly eject artisans who held legitimate C of Os from Orji mechanic village. Lives would have been lost but for divine intervention.

The impatient governor insisted that they must move regardless. His purpose was to grab the land on which they legally did their business and convert them to his family's instead.

Therefore, knowing that he could be resisted, this time Rochas sent all his family members to Dubai last week and then Uche Nwosu a couple of days ago.

They are safely tucked away overseas and so the rest of Imo youth, men, women and children may perish in the battle for land, cash and hegemony.

May God save our beloved State. This too, will pass.
