It is a 3.3 litre V6, it is a bit high. I really haven't taken time out to study the miles I get per gallon.

its a 3.0l 1mz-fe engine oga and not 3.3l

How do you know because someone here suggested that just like you are suggesting 3.0 now, though 'V6 3000 four cam 24' is written on the engine.
