There just might be a remote chance of the clamour gaining more grounds and attention hopefully to a point where the Federal government might push for Diezani 's extradition back to the country and then "Eureka"! ..the grand plan kicks in.
Knowing where the soft underbelly of the Buhari administration's anti-corruption battle is, it's inability to successfully prove it's cases in Nigerian courts, the case would drag on thereby enabling them to buy time.
(Arguably).. the richest being in the PDP (Diezani) can thus buy some freedom and then also provide funds to re-energise the party's bid to retake power and then a final presidential pardon at some point.
If the British courts are allowed to carry out the prosecution, then her chances of escape is probably nil, .. and as for "Charlie grandfather", he's just become a low profile pawn who's named his price.

Although Ibori had been freed earlier in an arranged trial by a shoddy and incompetent and corrupt EFCC, a government that is serious about fighting corruption should bring up new charges after learning from their mistakes.
We get inundated every day with tales of Diezani's supposed corruption and yet the corrupt and incompetent Buhari administration cannot file charges against her and start the process of extraditing her from the UK. You are waiting for the UK to do the prosecution for you.

Yes, Nigeria should outsource its problem to UK because it is so incompetent that it
can't prove an obvious corruption case.
Tafa Balogun and Bode George were jailed by Nigerian courts while OBJ was in
power. The only reason guilty politicians escape justice is because the FG hires
incompetent and moronic prosecutors coupled with carelessness.

So in essence Ibori committed crimes against UK but not against Nigeria? Because right now he is moving around a free man. Remember efcc slammed him with one hundred and smth charge counts without proving any... UK slammed him thirteen and proved all.
