A former police officer challenged the inspector general of police last week to declare how much the police make from security contracts to expatriates, oil companies, bank and other blue chip companies.

Government funds the police and provide equipments. Police sell security services to companies and rich individuals at the expense of government and then pocket the proceeds. Mind you those police officers receive double salaries -government's and their contractors.
