The FIDE world cup is holding in Tibilis Georgia. Starting from 3rd September 2017. Nigeria's newest International Master Balogun Femi(2252) starts his FIDE Chess world Cup Campaign with highest rated player and champion of the world Grand Master Magnus Carlsen (2827)
The tie ll be decided in a two round two way play. (each player plays with the two colors). In case of a tie a rapid and blitz play will be used to decide a winner.
Although the Norwegian GM is the overwhelming favorite. the chances of luck and other gaming factors could also turn the tide.
Chess being a logical and intense mental battle means both players must endure & play precisely to out-smart themselves, Which obviously means the biscuit could crack anywhere.
