The bloody salah day in Ijebu Igbo has been the talk of the town since the painful story came about. Honourable Sunday Onabanjo Sobowale is the latest person to send his heartfelt condolence message to the deceased and injured victims.

The honourable, while speaking from his country home in Ijebu Igbo, described the incident as a terrible and heart breaking one. He said 'the incident which took place at Ijebu Igbo Eid Prayer ground on salah day was so painful. I am not feeling so comfortable up till this moment because it is still so difficult to bear. I pray God Almighty gives the deceased family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grant the other victims a quick recovery'.

A truck was reported to have lost control, thereby, ran into a mammoth crowd preparing to pray at the Ijebu Igbo Muslim Praying Ground.
