It was a sad evening for Plateau United fans as the table toppers lost in an away match to Wikki Tourists by a painful solitary goal. This of course means that the Jos-based team is now walking on tight ropes as far clinching the NPFL League title is concerned.

It is made more difficult not just by the fact that MFM were able to easily dispatch Nassarawa United by two goals to nothing and thereby move within a point of Plateau United but also because the Jos-based team will be playing their last game at home against a resurgent Enugu Rangers in a match that has suddenly taken a do-or-die dimension.

MFM on the other hand will be playing away to El Kanemi Warriors on same day.
