I just decided to share these tips with you, although there is more involved when it comes to getting rid of belly fat and maintaining it. You can read through this 6 tips for a start.

Losing fat has everything to do with your consumption. Working out is good but for general fitness, but not to lose weight. Even if you lead a sedentary lifestyle, you can still lose weight effortlessly if you follow this simple rules.

1. Burn more calories than you consume,
2. eat food with high fiber, as they are high in satiety thus, making you less hungry
3. Do away with refined/processed foods. Instead of white rice, go for brown rice. Instead of white pasta, go for whole wheat pasta. Instead of fufu/eba, go for wheat, instead of bread, go for brown bread baked from whole wheat. Instead of cornflakes, go for oatmeals etc.
4. Do away with carbonated drinks, beer, and hydrogenated oil, sweets, chocolates.
5. Walk instead of taking okada/taxi (although it is better you take the okada if you did an early morning jog). Use the staircase instead of the elevator. Encourage activities that make you breathe hard.
6. Going to the gym also helps (but you don't need to), unless you want a well-toned body. Gyming a more like cosmetics, to protrude muscles and accentuate symmetrically beauty

Follow this easy steps and you will easily lose weight even without exercise (But it is also important to exercise because it helps shape your body as your lose weight). To repeat, exercise is basically for fitness and calory burning, but it's ineffective if you eat anything and run every day. Losing weight is about 60% food intake and 40% exercise. Lastly, there is no such thing as losing weight from a target area. Your body chooses the part from which it burns fat first and in most cases, the abdominal fat is the last.
