How to Make Billions from Agric Business in Nigeria

On Monday, September 12, 2016, the Punch Newspaper reported that Nigeria was spending $22 BILLION on importation of food.
When you convert this to naira, it will blow your mind. I mean, that’s about 8 TRILLION naira.
Let me remind you that this is not technology, cars, phones or computers. This is food, Agricultural products. When you look at it deeply, this is an opportunity, especially when we consider the fact that the

Federal and state governments are now seriously considering diversification of the economy to the Agric sector.

But wait!
Before you jubilate for this “opportunity”, let me also announce to you that it’s not a cheap one. If it were, so many people who have started Agric Businesses in Nigeria would have been millionaires.
But like most other businesses, more than 90% of people who start Agric businesses fail.
But why?
Read thorough this report, you'll see reasons why many have failed, then you try to avoid the pitfalls because its only a foolish man that fails to learn from the mistakes of others.
I'll make it short and straight to the point. I wil also be giving you samples of Agric businesses you can do, with short feasibility studies on them.
Just ride on.

1. *Stop Seeing Agriculture How Our Forefathers Saw It:* Most of our forefathers were farmers. To them, land was meant to produce what the family needed to eat, then sell the few remaining ones. The truth is, most of them were very poor. Because of this, when most people today think of Agriculture, the pictures of their forefathers and mothers come to mind. Because of this, it’s easy for an average African to hate the Agric business. This is ignorance because there are many people all over the world who are millionaire farmers.
We should think agriculture as a very big business with massive income, but we have to take the perseverance to make our farm itself very massive.

2. *Kill The Pride of “I know”* One of the reasons why most people fail in Agric business is what I call “the pride of I know"
A woman who is a lecturer in Agric department of a very popular university in Nigeria (Name withheld) called me few weeks ago and complained that she has lost so much money in Broilers but can't stop the business, that she had been breeding her chicks for 3months which costs her more in buying feeds, but she heard my program in Voice 96.7 FM Saying that we have chicks that can be breed in 7weeks ie less than 2months.
My question to her was, “Who is guiding you?”, “who trained you?”
Nobody.
Many people would tell me, “I read from the internet”, then I’ll laugh. That’s as good as saying, I read introduction to Chemistry or Accounting in a textbook, and I want to go and write WAEC.No matter how much you read on the internet, read on Jornals or attend a one day theoritical seminar, it’s still going to be Introduction or at best, chapter one of a whole textbook.
I know of a man who traveled to malesia to go and learn fish farming.
Wow!
That’s crazy, isn’t it?
Traveling out of Nigeria, spending like #3 million, just to go and learn fish farming? Well, people who know what they want take the pains to pay the price for it.
I’m NOT saying you must travel out of Nigeria to learn how to go about your intending Agric business.
No. You don’t have to.
But, you have to take all the pains needed to learn, from those who have been in the business before.

3. *You must See it as Business*
For most people who are into Agric Business, what they call themselves is "FARMER" Not just what they call themselves. That’s also how they see themselves. Because they have failed to see themselves as entrepreneurs, every other thing goes wrong from there.
Those who succeed in the Agric Business are those who see Agriculture as business, and a serious business for that matter. These people know they have to run their Agric Business, just as any other serious businesses out there.

4. *Know How to Get Investors*
It’s not just because it’s farming. It’s because it’s a business. Every serious entrepreneur must know how to get investor to expand his business. Not many of us can single-handedly take out #50 million from our bank accounts. Even if you can, you’ll still need to know how to get other people to invest with you.
Does this mean you cannot start an Agric Business until you have several millions? Not at all. You can start most businesses out there with a token, but as time goes on, you’ll need to get other people to invest with you. Such investment is power. Power to expand. Power to compete better.

5. *You have to Care about Business Education*
There are technical part to any business and there are the strategic parts. If you want to venture into Snail farming for instance you need to study and understand the business (business strategies, marketing, branding etc.) before you think of learning about Snail farming.
Contact us via 09023222045 or whatsapp 07037252905 For more information on both technical and strategic parts of any of the following Agric businesses. Grasscutter, Turkeys peacock, Broilers, Layers, cockerel, Fish farming, Pig rearing, Snail farming, bee keeping, Meat production, Egg production, poultry Feed production, Hatchery managements and machines, Preservation and Marketing strategies.

OP, you have tried. Have you heard this before? The only way to make real millions of naira from agriculture is by exportation of your agricultural products. It is as simple as that. Before you successfully export your products, you must master the contemporary dynamics of export trade to avoid getting defrauded by foreign buyers.
