The device is locally manufactured with Nigerian cables which is made of pure copper and known to be one of the best in the world. The main switching devices are contactors which are very reliable switching devices with lifespan of over ten years for this very application.

The good news is that while the device remains viable, the contactors in the device can be replaced after a period of 10 - 15 years and the device is new again.
