After the emergence of the National executives of the alumni association of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), the team continued its consultation and familiarization visit to major stakeholders in its bid to uplift the image of the college. On thursday, 7th September, 2017, the alumni association led by its president, Prince Shina Akintolure, paid a working visit to the Governing council of AOCOED head by the council chairman, Prof. Tunde Samuel, also in attendance is the college provost, Dr. Mrs. Ladele Aina , the deputy provost, Dr. Femi Adedina, the Registrar who also doubles as the council secretary, Mr. S.A.O Muhideen , a representative from the office of the Special adviser of Education , among other revered personalities.

In his welcome address, the governing council chairman expressed his appreciation to the alumni association for its continuous drive to make the college proud and also for giving back to their alma mata, he further stressed that the governing council is ever ready to welcome the alumni association representative, believing that the impact of the association would be felt in deliberations and also contributions to the betterment of the college.

In a swift response, The President of the alumni association gave a brief agenda of the executives and its vision for the college within a stipulated time frame, Akintolure further charged the council to always put the interest of the students into consideration during deliberations.

"We are glad to be back to the college to reciprocate the knowledge we earned and the moulding of our career which is a major contribution to what we are today, we will connect with other of our members at home and in diaspora to initiate reputable projects that will be of benefit to the students, the staffs, the college community and the host community at large".

"We appreciate your (Governing Council) gesture and we assure you of a progressive working relationship", Akintolure added.

Highlights of the event include, taking of group photograph and exchange of handshakes.
