President Mohammadu Buhari yesterday on NTA Network News at 9pm called for the protection of the ethnic Rohingya in Myanmar and for self determination. The Nigerian President made this appeal to UN calling on the global organisation to impose one of its principle which protects ethnic minorities fighting for self determination and facing brutality and murder in the host country.
I wonder why the President Mohammadu Buhari's government will seek for this right for the Rohingyas but denies the Indigenous People of Biafra same right.I expect him to preach unity and sanctity of the Myanmar constitution and sovereignty alas he s calling for the self determination of the Rohingyas.Why?

Unfortunately Auug San Suu Kyi will not be attending the UN General Assembly meeting where the issue of Rohingyas will be discussed at the security council.The Rohinyas r moslems in Myarnma who v been denied their right for so many years by the Myarnma govt.Millions v them have been displaced some residing in Bangladesh.However, the Rohingyas use terrorist methods to fight the govt and v been labelled terrorists by the Myanmar govt. The killings, murder and destruction of their homes by the Army has earned them support globally and this acknowledgement is affecting the popularity of the strong woman Ms Auug San Suun Kyi.The Head of Army in Myanma Gen. Min Auug Haing has vowed to destroy them without sympathy.Other prominent Nobel Laurates like Dalai Lama, archibishop Desmond Tutu and Malala Yousafzai v called on San Suu Kyi to stop the killing.
These r striking similarities of what President Buhari and Gen Buratia r doing in Nigeria against the Igbos in South East now.Why cant these leaders take a cue and create a fair society?ICC will not allow anyone to go unpunish for genocide.
