Those quotes were made based on the realities of their times. It is really difficult for a man to predict the future.
Well regarding the one on bitcoin (the reason for your post anyway,) i think it is too early to suggest the quote was in error. After all you guys were the ones who said MMM was the only way out of poverty. BUT YOU WERE WRONG.

Actually this post was meant to show that tech's that manage to go far often seem crazy or irrelevant at first, i'm particularly intrigued by the television quote and not bitcorn, i have $0 invested in Btc
