The Southeast is now a place of tension. Instead of engaging in productive activity the majority have to worry about their safety while IPOB supporters seek to confront the military in a fight they are bound to lose.

This begs the question: at what point will the people of the Southeast curb Nnamdi Kanu and his followers? Now or when thousands have been killed and the region brought to economic ruin?

The fact is that, there are people inside and outside this country backing and pushing Nnamdi Kanu.
Those IPOB/BSS guys are paid 30 thousand naira per month after recruitment.
Can you see the effect of poverty?

Turn your attention to Buhari, not Kanu.

He has a very poor thought process and he surrounded himself with men of low esteem who are not strategic in their thinking and sees his wife as suicide bomber.
So many people, myself included, criticised his arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, pointed out that it will end up making the fellow more popular and that those who were not paying attention to him will do so after his arrest, but the Herdsman refused. Today, Kanu is a cult figure among his followers and has caught the attention of the international press.

This his Python dance targeted at Kanu and his followers also is a poorly articulated venture that is fast endearing Kanu to some global political leaders as this is seen as an army siege on a politically persecuted person and will only portray Buhari as a brutal tyrant.

He was warned on the economy and he refused, today our economy is a mess, he was warned and is being warned on Kanu and he is still playing dumb, just hope it will not get out of hand also.

Actually Kanu has no legal basis to try to confront the state. Which goes back to my question: what will it cost for you guys to figure this out?

The outcome is almost certainly guaranteed, what is to be determined is the cost.

In what aspect is Kanu confronting the state?

The irony here is, not only Igbos and Hausas will lose their lives and properties, other tribes too will for mistaken identity.
I have a great aunt who could have lost her life in Ibadan during the height of the civil war just cause she looks so much like Igbos, she was caught, surrounded, and overpowered after running for dear life, but she kept screaming "I'm not Ibo", "I'm not Ibo", but they wouldn't hear any of it, until they asked her to pronounce "toro", "toro" was the little coin spent then, and Ibos pronounced it "tolo" . . . 'long story short, that was what saved her life.

Many haven't been that lucky during tribal wars and unrests.
Ab0kis largely can't differentiate between Igbo and Yoruba, etc.
