The co-founder of WhatsApp, Brian Acton, set to leave Facebook- owned company, WhatsApp, to start his nonprofit foundation. Eight years ago, Brian Acton and CEO Jan Koum launched WhatsApp but yesterday, Acton announced his departure on a Facebook post. The Post reads: "I have decided to move on and start a new chapter in my life. A non-profit focused at the intersection of nonprofit, technology and communications. "It'something I've thought about for a while and now it's time to foucs and execute. "I'll have more to share in the coming months".
