in view of the recently accident death of a relatively wealthy uncle of my friend..family members contacted his known bankers and was told that his 1st son is his next of kin...ok..that granted, getting the funds out of the bank has become so much difficult than even going to heaven...1st they were asked to produce the man's death certificate, that they did even with pictured of evidence of his lifeless body in the car accident..next they ask them to get a cover letter from the king of thier village Wich states that the said man and his benefactor son are well known to be related as filled in by the dead man's next of kin form..that took a stressful pain staining travel to the villa..but at last that was secured and provided again to the banks..next they were to to wait for an unspecified period of time till they finish thier investigation to be sure that the said beneficiary is actually the one who was intended to be granted the fund by the deceased..because according to them,his passport was not filled in in the form..so there is no way to actually guarantees that hour is the person...that the stage they are now and waiting..so now I ask, what will happen to funds which the man has kept away from the family as mayb his secrets funds for projects lying in any nigerian banks..the banks NEVER call to inform any person of idle funds in thier system to trace the family...the left over funds by the dead are so large a pool of funds that they can build a state...somthing is certainly not very correct about our banking system...please share your experiences and ideas on what can be done to this idle funds belonging to us..so the authorities can tell us who's holding all those money..
