English Premier League Week 5 Full Matches Preview by freeman191(m): 11:32am On Sep 15, 2017
English Premier league Week 5 will kick off with AFC Bournemouth hosting Brighton & Hove Albion at the Dean Court stadium on Friday by 20:00pm. This week will continue from where it stopped from Week 4, with mouth watering clashes between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stanford Bridge.

Manchester United will also welcome the return of there former club captain back to Old Trafford who returned back to Everton this transfer window, and has two goals already this season. We take a deep look into all the Premier League week 5 fixtures.

AFC Bournemouth vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Kick Off: Friday 15th, 20:00

Brighton beat West Bromwich Albion last Saturday to move onto four points, while Bournemouth have gone down to four defeats out of four. This is the first meeting between these two coastal clubs since April 2015, but there won’t be a long wait until the next match, as they face each other again in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

Bournemouth sits at the bottom of the table, while Brighton sits on the 14th position of the Premier league table.

Last 5 games Head to Head
AFC Bournemouth – 3 wins
Brighton & Hove Albion – nil
Draw – 2 draws

Crystal Palace vs Southampton
Kick off: Saturday 16th, 12:30

Crystal Palace sacked Frank de Boer after suffering four defeats in a row, with no win, they sit, second to bottom on the EPL Table. Roy Hodgson was appointed as the new Manager of Crystal Palace and he has the task of lifting the team from the bottom.

“It is very rewarding to find myself here now, in different times, as the Palace manager at a club that I have always loved and admired with a huge potential. We are the club of south London, with an enormously large fan base. The ambitions here are realistic and there is an enormous potential for growth and I hope we can achieve our goals.

If they loose against Southampton this weekend without a goal, they will become the first club in top-flight history to lose their opening five league games without scoring a single goal.

Southampton also suffered defeat at home in the hands of Watford, so they will look to bounce back against crystal palace. They sit at the 13th position of the EPL Table.

Last 5 games Head to Head
Crystal Palace – 2 wins
Southampton – 3 wins
draws – nil

Huddersfield Town vs Leicester City
Kick off: Saturday 16th, 15:00

Huddersfield’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign came to an end with a 2-0 defeat away at West Ham. The Terriers had kept clean sheets in their first three matches of the season, picking up seven points from their opening four games, but could not avoid defeat in the hands of West ham. They sit on the 6th position of the league

Leicester lost 3 of their four games so far, while winning the other. But there is little to panic as those defeats came against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester united. Meanwhile, the lone win came at home against the newly promoted Brighton. They sit currently on the 17th position, but am sure not for long.

Last 5 games Head to Head
Huddersfield Town – 1 win
Leicester City – 3 wins
Draw – 1 draw

Liverpool vs Burnley
Kick off: Saturday 16th, 15:00

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his side can bounce back from last weekend’s devastating 5 – 0 loss at Manchester City, after they followed that up with a frustrating 2-2 Champions League draw against Sevilla in midweek. The return of Philippe Coutinho to the Reds’ line-up could be also be the difference to push for the win.
Sadio Mane’s red card appeal was also rejected, and he will surely be missed.

Burnley come into this one the fresher of the two sides, with no midweek matches. They are also coming from the back of a 1 – nil over Crystal Palace and they sit on the 7th position of the table, 2 positions ahead of liverpool.

Last 5 games Head to Head
Liverpool – 4
Burnley – 1
Draw – nil
