Imagine if all dangote trucks were like this, God knows there will be little accident on our roads.

Semi-trailers are dangerous and stressful obstacles when drivers try to pass them, so Samsung has come up with a great way to make things a little bit easier for other drivers; they’ve attached giant TVs to the back so that drivers can see the road ahead before trying to pass.

According to Samsung’s video, almost one person dies in a traffic accident every hour in Argentina, so the need for something like their ‘Safety Truck’ is definitely there. The system is simple, though perhaps a bit cost-prohibitive – a small camera on the front broadcasts a live feed of the road to the screens on the back. There’s even a night-vision mode for night-time driving.

The truck’s prototype has already been tested, though no models are currently on the road. Samsung claims to be working together with local governments to figure out how to optimize the system for live road use. “So far Samsung has been able to confirm that the technology works and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people,” they write.

Then remain drivers to be disciplined on the wheel, some people will still miscalculate claiming ferrari in a toyota corolla just because it has sport stamped on it and plastic kits attached to it.

It'll cost a lot of money to purchase those trucks but the real problem will be the bad roads and hijackers who would strip the truck for thr TV grin

Abego!

Nigerians will mistake that oncoming vehicle screen as a television screen and start watching it as if it is Discovery channel.

Nice one indeed but this will only work better in advance counties and not here in Nigeria whereby the kids will start running after it seeing it as a television for their pleasure view.... Some public drivers will even always focus their attention on watching the screen and might lose concentration..... #MyView

Loooooong thing!

Road.... R-O-A- D, well-tarred smooth, well-marked, motorable road with good drainage system. Basic Essential as it were is still absent. And you're talking about video display vehicles.

nfortunately, truck accidents are all too common all over the world, especially on highways where big rigs and tractor-trailer often share the road with smaller passenger cars. It may take only a few seconds for a devastating accident to occur.
Some
truck drivers may decide to use a
mobile device while driving, even
though federal rules strictly prohibit
it. Other drivers choose to drive
under the influence, drive while
fatigued, or take risks such as
speeding or aggressive driving. In
some cases, drivers simply make
mistakes, such as turning the wrong
way. In many cases, these types of
accidents are preventable with
proper driver training and a careful
driver.
Potholes, uneven
roads, and poor or inadequate signs
on the roads can cause trucking
accidents. When municipalities and
cities don’t take proper care of their
roads, traffic collisions can easily
happen.Sometimes, drivers
will drift along in a truck’s blind spot
or will try to cut off a truck, often
with devastating consequences. A
truck driver may swerve out of the
way of another vehicle, only to crash
into your car. In these cases, the
other driver may still be considered
at fault for the accident. Drivers should just be careful and we will have minimal accidents on our highways. Dangote Truck drivers and other truck drivers should not be always blamed. All road users should pay attention to driving and be cautious about speed. If you accelerate at a speed within your control, I believe u could maneuver situations not caused by you easily and also pay attention to distant coming vehicles. Always expect that the oncoming vehicle could swerve any time so be prepaid at always and let God protect us all behind the wheels.
