The update is yet to be released. We might need to wait a little to do so. Remember FIFA and PES just released theirs recently. DLS would do soonest, I believe.

Yeah its an offline game and you can as well play online with gamers worldwide (Online Gameplay Mode) Even On your Local Host (WiFi Hot Spot)
You can play multiplayer With Your friends And this requires no data at all.

But When The 2018 Version Has Been Released You Will Have To Update It Through Their Google Play Store but don't panic Because Your Progress And Achievement's In The Previous Version Won't Be Affected.

Well the update actually upped the difficulty a bit when playing against strong teams, at least the get to pass the balls now and score or try to score, if you’re playing a hacked one, don’t expect to notice the changes

Ohh well, Dream League Soccer Classic had better graphics until it was updated. Those who need the older version although with not the latest transfers and kits should download DLS Classic Apk for their Android phones.
