Charisma is the New Sexy. Here's how to have it.

You can't help but notice the command they possess when they walk in to a room. Their presence seems to change everything and they immediately become the cynosure of everyone's attention.

Yet they seem to be doing nothing. It's something in their beings. It something you can't explain. It's something about them. It's something you want to learn. And you can learn it because nobody is born with it. That something is charisma.

Practise these tips and become a person of Charisma.

Smile

To put out your charismatic side, you need to appear and portray a confident and cheerful outlook.
A simple smile which takes about 9 facial muscles brightens up your countenance and puts you on a more approachable position where people see you as confident.

A stern and pensive look on the other hand makes you look insecure and cocky eliminating any aura of charisma.

When a speaker stands in front of a crowd with a stern and overly serious look, what do you make of their personality. Charismatic? Try to picture a speaker walking up to the audience and looks at a mammoth of crowd with a warm smile on his face. What do you think of him? Charismatic!

Listen

Many people today listen with the intent of replying rather than understanding the piece of information conveyed.

Charismatic individuals are conscious of the fact that they can make a vital contribution to the issue being discussed and that only comes from a good understanding of the information passed across.

They do this from a place of respect and value for the individual and his thoughts.

Humor

Make a person laugh and you have won his or her heart. On meeting people try not to be too serious. We are humans and not robots. Slip in your sense of humor in a clever manner and the other person will grab it quickly.

Knowing when to be funny and serious is the art that people of confidence and charisma have mastered. Master it and people will think of you when they think charisma.

Relax

Never do things in a harried and hurried manner. That is a character trait devoid of one who exudes charisma. Individuals with charisma understand that they are in control, therefore they never allow situations overwhelm them.

Think of a medical doctor in an emergency situation. They are calm and composed, focused on the important thing to do. When you exercise control over situations without allowing emotions to becloud your judgement, you are on your way to becoming a person of charisma.

Charisma is a character you should strive to get. And like every other skill, it can be learnt.

Practise these skills over and over till they become second nature and you will add charismatic to the list of adjectives that well describe you.

Go ahead. Live with Charisma.

Stay Fresh and Positive.
