Hundreds of armed youths set ablaze a building along Bello Way, where Igbo traders have shops.
Shops were vandalized and burned by the irate youth presumably acting in counter terror for tales and videos of pro-Biafrans attacking northerners in Nigeria’s East and South South.

President-General of Igbo Community in Sokoto State, Charles Uwaga, confirmed the attack.

Igbo cars were also burned in the attacks in the capital.

The police has been sent to restore order.

Nigeria is on a boiling kettle since president Muhammadu Buhari sent the Nigerian army to attack and arrest pro-Biafran separatist Nnamdi Kanu.

This little thing will one day snowball into something unimaginable. Let Buhari continue to play around.

Buhari is making sure there are no reprisals in the SE while allowing his youth wing run riot up north.

Can you see the difference? The Hausas killed Corpers after 2011 Presidential elections. The Hausas killed 12 innocent Anambarians holding family meeting in Adamawa State in 2013. The Hausas beheaded Gideon Akaluka in 1995. The Hausas have been bombing churches and killing Igbos unprovoked in the North. The list continues and Igbos have lost over 3000 people in the North from 2011 to 2015 with properties destroyed but never retaliated yet the Hausas and some other tribes does not see and appreciate it. The Igbos must start an eye for 10 eyes henceforth.

Those calling Buhari are just trying to pin the whole thing on him. The reason the military is in the SE is because of the threat to the sovereignty of the nation, nt because of attacks on the muslim community there, if at all such ever happened. The agitation has been blown out of proportion and the police unfortunately can't do anything about it, even a station was burnt down. While I don't like d way d military has handled things down der, again I can't say IPOB are in anyway peaceful, at least nt all of them. The army I am sure are provoked into shooting, so don't provoke them. Their presence in d SE doesn't mean people there can't conduct their normal businesses. So guys chill. We all got one life, don't waste urs for nothing.

stop sectionalizing issues... other tribes lost members and not just the Igbos... the problem of injustice and insecurity is a national one stop making it look as if it is the rest of Nigeria vs the Igbos... stop perpetuating hate
