How Do I Retrieve Information On Burnt Flash Drive by opad(m): 6:15am On Mar 02, 2010
I inserted my 4GB flash in a cybercafe seconds later i found it very Hot, i touched it, my hand almost got burned i ejected and inserted it back, the systems never 'saw' it, likewise my laptop, is there anyway i can retrieve my data in the flashdrive, cos ive gat lots of important files there.

Thanks for the above enquiry and am sorry to hear your drive is unusable. best bet is to pop in
to your local computer shop and you will advice on how to get this sorted if possible. Good luck !

Guy,dat the end of that flash drive.it has happened to mine, from then its been useless

It's weird it almost BURNT your hand lipsrsealed

The data is gone probably because you removed the usb drive 'illegally' from the usb port.

Moreso, check the system very well, it is the system that spoil the flash drive
