Insurgency, economic instabilities and governance were key issues President Muhammadu Buhari addressed this evening at the UN General Assembly

Buhari was the 8th speaker of the 193 Head of States expected to address the General Debate of the General Assembly

Addressing world leaders at the 72 UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, the president said the frontiers of democracy, good governance and rule of law were expanding on the continent.

He expressed the country’s commitment to fighting to uphold the values and struggles of the body to achieve development for all.
