It's of no news that the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has been on an indefinite strike action after
ASUP accused the Rector of the institution, Dr. Shuaibu Mohammed Musa of high handedness in managing policies of the institute.

Addressing journalists in Bauchi during the protest match, the ASUP Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Musa Mukaddas vowed not to call off the strike embarked since August 14th, 2017 until the management meets their demands.

Part of the ASUP demands according to Mukaddas are non-implementation of 2014,2015 and 2016 promotion, non payment of enhancement arrears,, non payment of 6 months salary shortfall, demand of 27 months of academic allowances of the staff.

ASUP also accused the Rector of not conducting convocation in the last 7 years and lamented inadequacies in laboratories and workshops all over the polytechnic.

The chairman warned all ASUP not to attend any assignment or interview organized by the management until their demands are met.

Due to this facts students have been forced to return to their respective homes with no hope of resuming and because of this some of the graduating students have come together to hire a hitman to kill the Rector hopping that once his dead academic activities would resume unfortunately one of them as been arrested and as been compelled to reveal the identity of the hitman but claims he has no idea because the hitman was contracted through the darkweb
