Renowned Kannywood movie producer and director, Falalu Dorayi is unhappy with the Kano state emirate council, and by extension, Nigerian artiste, Korede Bello over what he considers to be a slap on the face of the youths in the state.

Dorayi's reservations are as a result of the conferment of the chieftaincy title - 'Sarkin waka' on the Mavin artiste.

Korede was conferred with the title in recognition of his contribution to the society through music.

Dorayi took to Instagram to say that there were many Hausa singers in Kano who deserve the title instead of some "small boy from Southern Nigeria."

To the filmmaker, giving the title to a Hausa singer is better than giving it to Korede Bello.
