They could operate their initial model there rather than the any driver, any car model. They can work with the transport co-peration with that model.

[quote author=JaffyJoe post=60718050]Reasonable, at least until the uber team places client's safety first. Many of these so called drivers are deficient in the knowledge and application of corporate ethics.

How is the rider's approach towards them like?

Good riddance.

I can't understand the arrogance of Uber and it's executives. At the end of the day it's just an ordinary taxi services and they use other people's cars to make money indirectly but they behave like they invented electricity or discovered fire.

Coupled with the way they want to run local taxi off business I think they should be banned worldwide.

They have been banned in Italy and sky did not fall

That is their business model , trick gullible people to use their own cars to drive customers around for close to nothing, with all the business risk and loss borne by the drivers .

The loss of licence is mainly to do with lack of proper compliance with regulations for taxi operators including vetting of drivers and verification of their ID and documents, that is required of all taxi operators. Because drivers are leaving Uber after realising they are losing money, Uber London started increasingly cutting corners in the vetting of drivers and their documentation.

The reality is that Uber will appeal before the loss of licence occurs on 30th of this month. They will then be permitted to continue to operate at least for the duration of the appeal process.

Now this means Uber may drag out the appeal process to last many months if not years, as they are skilled at doing this over many years in several countries.

Therefore reality is that Uber cars will not be leaving London streets any time soon.

This news may end up effectively being nothing more than free advertisement for Uber from all the news stories worldwide.
