Whether it was ritual purposes or a contracted killing job, some men were this morning caught by local residents after they attempted to kill a woman in his farm.

Some gallant residents of Ode Aye community in Okitipupa LGA of Ondo State have apprehended a four-man gang over allegedly attempting to kill a widow in her farm.

It was gathered that a woman was said to have visited her farm situated in one of the villages in the community during the early hours of today, after few hours of her visits she saw four men holding cutlass in their hands coming towards her direction which makes her to run while they started pursuing her.

Reports revealed that it was her noise crying for help that alerted all the men in the area to trooped-out to rescue her in which they were all arrested.

Eyewitness, disclosed that it took the intervention of some officers of the Nigerian Army before they could be rescued from the town as they were being beaten by the angry mobs.
