Because it's not actually 20000mAh.

I bought one labeled SAMSUNG with about the same capacity but can not even charge my 2000 may bat3 up to 70%. It's terrible dunno what CPC and SON are actually doing!

I'm estimating the capacity of that power bank to be max; 8000mah.
The reason being that if you remove the space occupied by the circuit, the cells that usually come with such can only be four; two alongside top and bottom, connected in parallel. Each cell is about 2000 - 2200mah capacity when brand new.
Not sure about the size of the case but I'm estimating with the USb cable.

Stop using that tin to charge your phone as its completely fake!

you need to consider energy lost via heat... when ure charging and your power bank is hot..

Mine isn't I have a standard power bank made by RavPower and it's sister company Anker u can google it up, I have been using it since 2014 and I am still using it, it's rated 13000mah, newer bulky models are 15000mah also, I have used bigger ones up to 22000mah that charges laptops and small DC devices.

You get what you pay for..no doubt it costs somewhere in the region of #6000..if you want a genuine Power Bank,be ready to pay the asking price..

YOU CANNOT GET A GOOD 20000mAh Powerbank for #3500.
Also, it is possible the elderly man knows little about power banks and mobile like many elderly men in Nigeria.
