The national coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum,Evang Chinedu Obigwe, Sunday, squashed the statement credited to the former governor, Mr Peter Obi by newsmen, that he (Obi) handed over N25billion naira to Governor Willie Obiano, noting that such statement has no iota of truth.

In a statement issued, Obigwe said that Peter Obi is a pathological liar for claiming in his recent interview with journalists that he handed over 25billion naira cash to Governor Obiano. He said that what Peter Obi handed over to Governor Obiano was 66billion naira investment that will mature by 2024 and 9billion naira cash with over 200billion naira debt liabilities.

However, Obigwe advised Peter Obi to stop wasting time in throwing indirect attack on Governor Obiano because the November 18th election battle is between him; other agents of darkness and the people of Anambra State that has vowed to ensure that no stone will be left unturned towards the actualization of Governor Obiano’s merited 2nd term mandate. Obigwe equally said that the people of Anambra State cannot leave Obiano’s compound of merriment for a place where Oseloka Obaze, Tony Nwoye, Osita Chidoka and Godwin Ezemo are mourning with their cohorts.

He further said that right thinking people of Anambra State will never allow themselves to be misled by the opposition leaders falsehood against Governor Obiano. Obigwe therefore charged the people of the State to be vigilant as evil minded opposition leaders have started moving round the State in the guise of campaigning. “Don’t fall for their blackmail antics”, he said He stated that the big difference between Obiano and those contesting against him is that the Governor is not a typical Nigeria politician that indulges in dirty game to acquire power and that the Governors’ words are his bonds.

“Governor Obiano can be trusted to deliver on his campaign promises whereas other candidates cannot because they don’t have good intentions for the people of the State” he said Meanwhile, another report making rounds via the internet, has it that Governor Obiano threatened Nnamdi Kanu. According to Obigwe “it’s not in Governor Obiano’s character to threaten people because he is a man of peace.” He stated that those behind the fake news concoction are merchants of falsehood whose stock in trade is blackmail for the feeding of their insatiable stomach infrastructure appetite. He urged sane minds to disregard the fake news.
