some mean person from opobo, asked me who have i helped that I am always complaining

i was numb, felt dumb and embarrassed

so how does an innocent student like me, who has never worked in her life, help Africa

Depends on how you sustain yourself...,,, to many underestimate the costs then turn to crime.

Help yourself first!
Focus on school, pass with good grades, get yourself something to do, and earn some something tangible then you can can revisit this idea of helping Africa.
Problems in the world will never end, Bill Gates has got more resources than you and has been having a go at it for a while. You can only reasonably help Africa from from a position of strength. Otherwise any help you offer now will be absolutely inconsequential and you'll probably be exploited by others.
