2019 POLITICAL CALCULATIONS GETS HOT IN PDP OYO

The challenge of the Governorship flag bearer of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State took a new dimension today as gunmen almost assassinated a very prominent PDP aspirant and former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Sharafadeen Alli in his black Toyota Land cruiser Jeep shortly after the installation of new Baales by the Olubadan in Ibadan.

Our investigations revealed that, the assassination attempt happened because of the threat which Mr Sharafadeen Alli poses to some top members of the PDP ahead of the 2019 Governorship election in the state.

We also confirmed from a reliable source that, Mr Sharafadeen Alli is more likely to win the party ticket as its flag bearer for the 2019 Governorship election in Oyo State, adding that, that is why a certain aggrieved member of the party is sponsoring killers to end his life abruptly.

As at press time, Mr Sharafadeen Alli is said to be driven away from the scene by another vehicle. Three other journalists were in his vehicle when the gunmen attacked him.
