Amongst many other agricultural strides, the current administration in Oyo state has taken a clear leap in Rice farming with a view to become a major stakeholder in Rice production in the southwestern region and in Nigeria. Few months ago, the state government signed a MoU with the Dangote Group to this same effect; that is, empower rice farming and rice farmers in Oyo state. This below shows an Oyo rice farmer on a 40-acre Rice farm in IGBOPE along the Igbeti-Igboho axis, keying into this drive, happily at that. #AsiwajuNiWa #AjumoseAgriculture 2 Likes 1 Share

Wetin concern "potor republic" for this thread again. Some of you are mentally ill. Better grow up. Mind you, according to NBS, Oyo state is the bottom state in volume of rice production in Nigeria. https://www.nairaland.com/3969645/largest-rice-producing-states-geopolitical Not "one of the bottom", but the very bottom of 36 states. Which is shocking for a massive state with so much landmass and arable land equal to the whole South East combined.
