One of the three iPhone smart devices released in a row by Apple is the iPhone 8 Plus (iPhone 8+). It is the bigger version and successor to the also announced iPhone 8, and as such it has better specifications and features than the later. Both the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone 8 are superior to their predecessors (iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus), even though the difference between the original iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 isn't too noticeable except for the fact that the first has a full glass body build and the powerful A11 Bionic processor. What's new in the iPhone 8 Plus?

Just in case you weren't able to figure out the differences between the iPhone 8 and this iPhone 8 plus under review. Well, I already mentioned that the later is the bigger version of the first and by that, it is expected to have higher specs.

Here we can see a difference in the display size of both new iPhone devices, this bigger version has bigger 5.5 inches screen against the 4.7 inches we saw on the smaller iPhone. Going forward we also find out that the dimension and weight of this phone are bigger than the first.


The iPhone 8 plus has some camera features that are not present, it also has a bigger 3GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and fast running of applications. The battery was also improved from the 1821mAh used on the iPhone 8 to a big 2675mAh capacity Lithium-Ion battery.

The processor, sensors, storage, protection and connectivity features remain the same on both iPhones.

With that said, the only determinate whether to buy this smartphone or not would be its price which happens to be noticeably higher by at least $100. You shouldn't also forget that another iPhone was announced alongside, I mean the iPhone X which is unarguably the successor to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
