Job Description

1. Preliminary design of Buildings, steel works, shelter, equipment foundation, based on conceptual/architectural drawings to be able to do architectural and structural materials calculation.

2. Taking of quantities from civil and structural drawings including buildings, steel structures, roads, drainage, etc to prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) or Bill of Engineering Measurement (BEME).

3. Review of specifications for civil works to determine the materials to consider.

4. Knowledge of materials for HVAC, plumbing and electrical will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

1. Must have a minimum of HND/B.Sc in Civil Engineering
2. Must be able to use relevant building design software and AUTOCAD.
3. Must have engineering design and construction supervision experience of complete building and associated facilities.
4. 1- 5 years experience. Fresh graduates or Youth Corpers may be considered if you can prove relevant experience during Industrial Training or Youth Service.
5. Must be resident in Lagos, and preferably within Lekki-Ajah Axis, as the work will be based around Ajah, although you may do part of it from home. You may be requested to mobilize or for project meeting at short notice.
6. Not more than 32 years old. May be male or female.

Please note that the job is purely on contract basis for short period at each time. Each batch of work would be for 1 to 3 weeks. Payment will be between 10k to 15k per week depending on your experience. More than one person may be required at a time, but maximum of 3 people will be chosen.

I have somebody that meets all these criteria, unfortunately he is currently in Anambra state. A corper

10k per week is 2k per day dats helpers daily pay on site, bricklayer take at least 3500-5000, and u expect the Engr to supervise, am a Engr based in ajah, u need to up that pay since the job is part-time ....25k per week is feasible....thanks

As for the short duration, like how many months? So I can inform a friend of mine who stays around.
I'm a civil engineer but the weekly pay is not encouraging.
