An American twitter user, Sean Murphy has said that it is easier for a dog in the United States to get treatment than for a human being in Nigeria to get treatment.

Murphy stated this in a tweet that has generated widespread controversy. He wrote, "So a dog with lymphoma in Miami has a better chance of getting treatment than a woman with a brain tumor in Lagos. Shame!"
