Cristiano Ronaldo v Correio da Manha


For many years,Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been in feud with Portuguese tabloid Correio da Manha.


More often than not, when a story about Ronaldo’s personal life does the rounds, the source is Correio da Manha. That’s regardless of whether the stories are true or not.


Ronaldo’s distaste for Correio da Manha blew up during the 2016 European Championships.


In a memorable incident, Ronaldo took exception to being interrupted during a walk with the Portugal squad in the grounds of their hotel by a reporter.


The reporter was from Correio da Mahna, or CMTV, and when he tried to get Ronaldo’s thoughts on the Hungary game, the Real Madrid star took his microphone and threw it in a lake.

Back in 2014,Cristiano Ronaldo also refused to answer a question from a CMTV journalist in a post match presser.


Ronaldo believes CMTV are guilty of slandering him, his family and the Portuguese national team.


Attacking Georgina Rodriguez


On Wednesday, Correio da Mahnahave once again tried to stir up trouble for Cristiano Ronaldo.


They’ve published a series of old photos of Ronaldo’s pregnant girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.


The tabloid report that Georgina Rodriguez carefully combed through her social media accounts at the start of her relationship with Ronaldo.


She erased all images with her former boyfriends, for example.

But now Correio da Mahna have got their hands on these deleted images and they’ve published them.


The tabloid ran the pictures in an article titled “Photos reveal Georgina’s hidden past with other men”, adding “now the past has come back to haunt her”.


Is it any wonder that Ronaldo has such an issue with CMTV?
