A group of youths from Obio Etoi community are currently protesting in front of the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo over non-compensation for using their 'land'.

The angry youths believe that the government should be giving some kind of payment to them for situating the stadium in their community.PoliticsNGR has obtained photographs from the scene. See them below;

Rascals!!

The government should have let your desolate junk yard to be an eye-sore for the world?

The least these jobless assholes could do if given the land back is to erect shanties or turn it to garbage site.

The above protest is why Nigeria will forever remain underdeveloped.

Money does not equal development.

anti-developmental youth. is that land the only land to cultivate on? Despite all the land wasting all over the place unused, the youth cannot go farm on them, it is the one that the stadium is constructed on that caused them their poverty. I weep for the youth of this country!

What infrastructure? Is it the stadium that will develop their land. Do you know the budget of that stadium as well as the one in Abuja, and what the people got when those stadiums should have been better than the New Wembley in London...

This one Weak me,I Swear....So they want Government to Compensate them for Government Land? Are they not aware of LAND USE ACTS IN NIGERIA. My Dear Obio Etoi Brothers and Sisters, Land belong to Government and Government can use any land for Any developmental project without paying any compensation except the place was developed by Individuals before government take over. Uyo Master Plan had it that A Stadium will be located in that particular place. So you guys should go home Mbok.
